A reproductive wellness companion bringing pregnancy, cycle tracking, newborn care, healthcare resources, and trusted education into one personalised mobile experience.
/ Overview /
Mama+Care started as a straightforward pregnancy and baby tracker built on Expo and Firebase. Over several release cycles we grew it into a broader reproductive wellness platform: a menstrual calendar with cycle logging and predictions, a Trying-to-Conceive pathway with personalised onboarding, a hospital and clinic contacts finder, and a rebuilt education section with richer content and browsing.
The 2.0 redesign introduced a new design system, a floating dock navigation with a centered log action, and a home screen built around what users check most, pregnancy or baby progress, upcoming visits, and cycle status, followed by a polish pass on the dock layout and profile panel based on real usage.

Parents needed one trustworthy place to track pregnancy, cycles, and newborn care instead of piecing it together across apps and guesswork.

We built and iterated on a cross-platform app covering cycle tracking, pregnancy and baby milestones, hospital contacts, and education, with a redesigned navigation and home experience.
/ How it evolved /
Pregnancy and baby tracker
Shipped the first release on Expo and Firebase: account setup, pregnancy progress, and baby milestone tracking as the core loop.
Cycle tracking and Trying-to-Conceive
Added a menstrual calendar with logging and predictions, plus a Trying-to-Conceive pathway with its own personalised onboarding, widening the app beyond pregnancy alone.
Hospital finder and education library
Introduced a hospital and clinic contacts finder for real-world care, and rebuilt the education section with richer content and easier browsing.
Version 2.0 design system
Rebuilt the interface on a new design system with floating dock navigation, a centered log action, and a home screen organised around progress, upcoming visits, and cycle status.
Polish pass from real usage
Tightened the dock layout and profile panel based on how people actually moved through the app after the 2.0 release.
